Chesterfield FC Community Trust To Host 37TH Hope Hack Event
On 12th February 2025, Chesterfield FC Community Trust will host the 37th Hope Hack, an initiative from The Hope Collective designed to inspire and empower young people. The event is part of a wider series aimed at creating hope for youth who may be vulnerable to negative influences, providing them with opportunities to shape their futures positively.

On July 8th, young people across the VRUs came together in Coventry to discuss the future of policing at the 33rd Hope Hack. We began the week with a new government and added to the momentum with a day to reflect and reimagine the current system.
The Positive Approach of Hope
When I was Director of the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit I was invited to speak across the world about the issue of violence in our communities. Many looked to Scotland for direction due to the reduction in violence that had occurred there since the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit was formed in 2005.

Young people come together to debate the future of policing
Around 80 young people from across the country came together to reimagine policing in a landmark Hope Hack event.
Five violence reduction units partnered with the Hope Collective, UK Youth, the National Citizen Service, the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, the National Black Police Association, West Midlands Police and the Police Race Action Plan for the landmark event in Coventry yesterday (Monday).

Throughout Humberside, Hope Hacks were held in four areas: Bridlington, Grimsby, Hull and Scunthorpe.
